Hong Kong Academy of Engineering Sciences (HKAES)

Founded in 1994 by eight distinguished engineers in Hong Kong under the leadership of Dr Sze-yuen Chung, GBM, GBE, FREng, JP; Nobel Laureate Prof Charles Kao, GBM, KBE, FRS, FREng; and Prof Yau-kai Cheung, SBS, OBE, FREng, the HKAES is an organisation of Hong Kong's most eminent engineers of various disciplines and leaders of the profession with distinguished achievements in engineering sciences or applications. It aims to promote the advancement of science, art and practice of engineering for the benefit of the public, and to pursue excellence in all fields of engineering.
